About the Program
The program provides positive learning opportunities for children through an emotionally and physically safe learning environment to foster holistic growth of the child. We support children’s interest and choices to explore their own ideas in order to promote competent communication and learning, so as to nurture children’s development in all domains.
We observe children’s emerging interest through play experiences and we incorporate their interests when planning. The program provides the opportunity to develop diverse skills through planned activities to help children reach their full potential.
We provide developmentally appropriate play experiences in order to provide maximum opportunity for the children to develop in all areas of growth: physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
Meeting Developmental Needs
We believe children are unique with diverse developmental needs. All children have the right to education that helps them grow and develop to their fullest. Our program supports children’s growth and development by meeting their diverse developmental, social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs.
On a weekly basis, each room staff prepares developmentally appropriate activities according to the emerging interests of children. Children’s emerging interests will be observed and incorporated in planning and the planned play material that are provided for children to explore reflect the interest of children. The staff provide stimulating learning opportunities to help children explore and develop their own knowledge. Children learn new skills and master them through hands on experiences. The positive and enriching environments provided by the staff, with love and care, in each play area is to further support children’s developmental, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative needs.
